Changelog

Every version of WeSelling that is sold as a source license is listed here. Versions follow major.minor.patch. Until 1.0, a minor bump (0.59 → 0.60) can change anything; a patch (0.59.0 → 0.59.1) only fixes.

  1. v0.59.0

The first numbered release, and the first version offered under the WeSelling source license. It is everything built since the project started on 2026-07-08: roughly 400 commits, one multi-tenant platform.

    Platform

    • Multi-tenant SaaS: every business gets its own subdomain, and a custom domain once verified
    • Per-day billing with credit balances, trials, grace periods and a free "leeway" campaign mode
    • Platform operator console: tenants, plans, transfers, gift cards, announcements, blog, help centre, support inbox, backups and cron health
    • Stakeholder insights: invite-only analytics with magic-link sign-in
    • Ownership transfer between people, with the old owner fully deactivated
    • Public directory of shops at /discover, with place and topic pages
    • Share cards drawn per shop, with the shop's own logo, colours and address

    Running a business

    • Inventory with stock movements (never edited in place), categories, brands, barcodes and multi-branch transfers
    • Sales, returns and refunds; sales are immutable and corrected by returns
    • Orders board, department routing, and a call-staff board driven by table QR codes
    • Customers with deduplication, balances, birthdays and a self-service portal
    • Staff, roles and permissions by capability, with per-user overrides
    • Attendance with GPS, payroll with deductions for shortages and deficits
    • Expenses with approval tied to the wallet each one is paid from
    • Services, reservations, table holds, memberships, events and tickets
    • Accounting exports and tax capture
    • Reports: dashboards, product intelligence, close-of-business and channel reconciliation

    Selling online

    • A storefront per business with themes, hero slides and video, an FAQ and SEO
    • Checkout through Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, bank transfer and crypto on StarkNet
