WeSelling Source License 1.0
This license applies to the version of the WeSelling software you bought, as delivered to you in the private WeSelling repository. "We" means WeSelling, the operator of weselling.store. "You" means the person who bought the license, signed in with the GitHub account the license is recorded against.
1. What you may do
You may use, copy and modify the Software, and run it:
- for your own business or organisation, and for businesses you control;
- for a client, as an installation that serves that one client's business;
- to learn from, to test, and to build on privately.
You may keep a private fork, and you may share the Software with people who work with you on it, as long as each of them is bound by this license.
2. What you may not do
Unless you hold a Commercial license, you may not use the Software, or anything derived from it, to offer a Competing Service. A Competing Service is any hosted, managed or multi-tenant product that lets businesses you do not control sign up for and use substantially the same functionality as WeSelling, whether you charge for it or not.
Whatever license you hold, you may not:
- publish the source code, or make it available to anyone who is not bound by this license;
- sell, sublicense or rent the Software itself;
- remove or change our copyright notices or this license.
3. Commercial license
A Commercial license grants everything in section 1 and removes the Competing Service restriction in section 2. The other restrictions in section 2 still apply.
4. Contributions
You may open pull requests and issues in the WeSelling repository. When you contribute code, designs, text or other material ("Contributions"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, sublicense and distribute your Contributions as part of WeSelling or anything else, and you confirm that you have the right to grant it. We are not obliged to accept any Contribution.
5. Your license is personal
Your license belongs to you and is recorded against your GitHub account. You may not transfer it, except that it passes to your heirs. Anyone else who wants repository access needs their own license.
6. Delivery and updates
You are invited to the repository when your payment is confirmed. If a release threshold was shown when you bought, the full source of that version is pushed to the repository once that many licenses for it have been sold. Until then the repository may hold only documentation. If a refund date was shown with the threshold and the source is not in the repository by that date, you may ask for a full refund.
Your license covers the version you bought and any fixes we publish for that version. Repository access to later versions is at our discretion and may require a new license.
7. This is not an investment
A license is a purchase of software. It gives you no shares, equity, ownership, voting rights, tokens, share of revenue or profit, or any right to a return. It is not designed to gain value, and it cannot be resold. Nothing on our website or in this repository is an offer of securities.
8. Ending the license
If you break this license, it ends automatically, and we may remove your repository access. Sections 4, 7 and 9 survive the end of the license.
9. No warranty, limited liability
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Software, and our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the license.
10. Law
This license is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
